The Cathedral Colloquium is a forum for parishioners of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen to speak from their areas of professional and/or academic expertise on a common topic of interest to the Archdiocese and community at large.
Over four weeks, we’ll hear from Dr. Anton Koekemoer (Apr. 17) who works on the Hubble and James Webb Space Telescopes on how he sees God in the cosmos, Dr. Megan Latshaw (Apr. 24) of Johns Hopkins University on environmental justice and Pope Francis’ call to ecological conversion, our own Dr. (Dcn.) Fritz Bauerschmidt (May 1) on the relationship between Galileo, Darwin, and Catholic theology, and finally Dr. Luigi Adamo (May 8) who directs Cardiac Immunology at Hopkins on whether there is a role for Jesus in evidence-based medicine.
Each lecture begins at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center and is free and open to the public.
