The Chrism Mass is particular to a cathedral. At this Mass, Archbishop Lori will bless and consecrate the three oils that we use for certain sacraments. The oils are then distributed to every parish throughout the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Catholics from every corner of the archdiocese always comment on how much they look forward to that Mass every year.
