Join us in watching the work of restoring the organs and pipes of the Cathedral.

After 46 years of use, our organs need restoration. The project will involve removing pipes from each tower, shipping them to Orrville, Ohio, where they're being restored, and then returning them to the Cathedral and re-installing them in the towers.

Dan Sansone, our Director of Music, will be making semi-frequent trips to the factory to see the work in progress and help with the design of the new Gallery Organ Console. He will keep us updated through this website.

First, the Gallery Organ is being restored. Once that is returned to the Cathedral and re-installed, the same basic process will be repeated for the Sanctuary Organ. In all, it will take three years to be completed.
