CARES NOW COLLECTS FOOD EVERY WEEKEND

PLEASE CONTRIBUTE OFTEN!

THANK YOU!!

Help feed the hungry in our community! CARES is an interfaith partnership in North Baltimore that pools resources to respond to the needs of the people in the community who are facing financial hardships. CARES operates a food pantry and an emergency assistance center in St. Mary's Church, Govans.

Member congregations provide support to CARES through volunteer assistance, food and financial contributions. By joining our coalition, congregations can be certain that the people they are helping have legitimate needs. When people seeking assistance approach a member congregation, they are referred to the CARES center, where they are interviewed by trained volunteers, and are often provided with emergency food packages, eviction and utility cut-off prevention funds, pharmacy assistance vouchers, and social service referrals.
