Servant Leadership Ministry

Christ is an excellent model for business and personal leadership. As Christians, we are called to serve God and each other in all that we do.

Servant Leadership is the concept of putting the needs of others first, in order to produce mutually beneficial results. These results can be in the form of better relationships; and believe it or not, increased productivity and profitability without compromised ethics.

Leadership Reflection: Moses heard his call to leadership.  Moses did not run from the burning bush in fear.  Even when the Lord called him by name, Moses was steadfast and exclaimed, "Here I am."  Perhaps your call to lead will not be as dramatic as Moses', but when it happens, how will you respond?  The call to lead is scary, whether you are to coach a soccer team, manage a new project, or steer an organization out of trouble, you will be responsible for the results of others.  Your ability to serve their needs and assist them in their journey will lead to their success and yours.

The Servant Leadership ministry works toward providing an understanding of the teachings on Sunday and how to apply them Monday through Saturday. We do not advocate "preaching" at work, but letting your spiritual light shine can have benefits you may have not realized. With Christ and the scripture as our model, we can be better leaders.

Our Mission
To gather leaders within the parish community and give them an environment to learn, grow, mentor, and flourish as Servant, Christ-like leaders at home, work and society.

If you have questions about the Servant Leadership Ministry, please contact the Parish Office.
