liturgical celebrations with seating, collections, and congregational
needs.
When the Ministry Meets:
November. Head ushers may meet more frequently.
Volunteer Commitment:
Permanent Sunday Mass ushers: 1 Sunday Mass per week.
Special liturgies ushers: Holy Days, holidays, Sacred Triduum,
and special archdiocesan liturgies.
Substitute ushers: as needed.
When Volunteers Can Join:
Anytime.
Volunteer Profile/Special Skills:
18-years & older; men & women. Reliable, responsible,
reverential, good with people; ability to arrive at church at least
fifteen minutes before assigned Mass/liturgy begins; ability to count
heads while manipulating the collection basket; some knowledge of
first-aid and emergency procedures.
