Job Description:
Volunteers should be interested in working with children from age 3-12 with communication disabilities. Volunteers will provide assistance to classroom staff and therapist.

Job Description:
Volunteers work with staff and students at the Maryland School for the Blind. Volunteers work in child care, as an aide in the classroom, and can have evening dorm responsibilities.

After school on weekdays, or during Summer Vacation.

Availability:
After school on weekdays, weekends, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer Vacation. Students can volunteer on a regular basis or on a one-time basis.
Job Description:
Volunteers can work on the following:

  1. Special Friends Program – volunteers develop friendships with individuals who have developmental disabilities in a one on one setting and in a group setting.
  2. Day Programs – volunteers can work with any day-programs during the summer.
  3. Other opportunities – volunteers can work on programs and activities tailored to his/ her interests and schedule.
