Before making a commitment to a service project, think about the variety of ways in which you can use your talents and abilities to help others. These activities listed below are some of the ways other candidates have chosen to serve within our community. Perhaps something on the list will help you decide the service you would like to perform. Remember that you must complete a minimum of 20 hours for your project.

Opportunities for Ministry through the Cathedral

Parish & Family Ministry Activities 
You can volunteer at any Parish event, such as Fall Fest, Halloween Bingo, Shoppers Babysitting, HYPER Mass, Krispy Kreme sales, Spaghetti Dinner, Lenten Dinners, Stations of the Cross, and Spring Break Work Camp.

School of the Cathedral Activities  
You can also volunteer at School of the Cathedral activities such as the   CASPA Potluck Dinner,  Alumnae Events or  Basket BINGO. Contact Mary Miller at 410 464-4100 to volunteer for school events.

How to organize a Service Drive of your own:

Candidates may choose to discuss with their parents the possibility of organizing a canned good drive, book drive, or clothing drive in your own neighborhood or school to benefit your favorite charity.  If you choose to organize a drive for your Service Project, please contact Amy Buttarazzi in the Youth Ministry Office to discuss logistics.
