The panel to the left of Saint Vincent's altar depicts Old Testament prophets David, Joel and Zachariah who spoke of the coming Messiah. They are pointing to Mary, descendant of David and Mother of Christ. The text below comes from the Advent antiphons from Evening Prayer of the Divine Office.
In the stone panel to the right, the Wise Men offer their gifts to the infant Christ. The text is the special invitatory psalm with which the Church begins her official prayers daily during the Christmas season.

The pelican carved on the base of the altar is a symbol of charity, recalling the legend where the pelican would prick herself to feed her young with her own blood, rather than let them starve.

Let's see the nativity scenes in the window.
