| The Baptistery is a special place designed for the celebration
of Baptism. The physical location and construction of the
Baptistery serve, in a subtle way, to underscore the Church's
theology of Baptism. It's located at the main entrance of the
Cathedral to remind us: It's through Baptism that we enter
into the Church Community, the Body of Christ.
We enter the Baptistery hall by descending three steps,
representative of Jesus' three days in the tomb. In Baptism, we
die with Christ and are buried with Him in the tomb, but we also
rise with Him as we emerge newly baptized.

"Knock" (click) on the door at the end of this
passageway.
For it is written:
Knock, and it shall be opened to you.
(Matthew 7:7)
